New Paper: Beach Geomorphology and Loggerhead Sea Turtle Nesting

We just had a new short communication made available online in the journal Chelonian Conservation and Biology. It deals with work completed during a 2012 internship at Gulf Islands National Seashore in Mississippi. The paper explores the role of beach morphology – in particular slope – in loggerhead sea turtle nesting and discusses the results of the study in the context of increasing environmental change in coastal ecosystems.
